Types of Provincial Nominee Programs

These streams are linked to Canada's Express Entry system. Eligible candidates with an active Express Entry profile may receive a provincial nomination, which adds 600 additional CRS points, greatly increasing their chances of receiving an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for Permanent Residence.
Non-Express Entry (Base) PNP:
These streams operate independently of Express Entry. Applicants first apply directly to the province for nomination. Once nominated, they submit a Permanent Residence application to IRCC through the non-Express Entry process.
